We created this site to help freedom-seekers like you explore the best places to live in Latin America.
This about us page is where our story begins — our journey to Latin America started with a gut feeling that something wasn’t working back home. Like many others, we were looking for more autonomy, a lower cost of living, and a deeper connection to how we live.
It wasn’t an easy leap.
But after relocating, our journey in Latin America has been one of challenges, growth, and incredible rewards. From affordability and cultural richness to a stronger sense of personal freedom, this life shift has been more meaningful than we ever expected.
We know the idea of moving to Latin America can feel overwhelming.

Here are three things we’ve learned since we kicked off our adventure back in 2014?
1. We’ve learned that swaying palm trees and white sandy beaches look and sound fantastic as a place to live , but we know the negatives of living in a place where other people vacation.
2. We’ve learned not to follow the herd; we stay updated about what’s happening in the world and make course corrections as needed.
3. We’ve learned not to believe everything we hear; we take on the latest information, conduct research and come to our own conclusions.
